"A hundred quiet mornings of sun."
The Sunwashed Bloom Kimono began with a faded cloth — the kind that has hung where the morning sun reaches it for years, until its colours softened into something gentler and warmer than they began.
We drew the print to arrive already at that point: the pinks gone to blush, the golds to honey, the aquas to the palest sea-glass, all of it warmed across a peach-cream ground. The florals are soft and scattered, the paisley borders running down the sleeves the way a printed cloth is framed at its edges. Nothing about it is loud. It's a print that looks like it has been somewhere calm for a long time — caught the early light, kept a little of it, and softened in the keeping.
We made it for the gentle part of the day, the first hour, when the light itself is doing exactly the same thing to everything it touches.
One print. One sun-warmed cloth. A hundred quiet mornings.

"It actually felt like the photos."

Wore it to a friend's vow renewal in Tulum and three people stopped me on the way to dinner. The cotton-rayon blend is so much softer than I expected.
"Worth every dollar."
I almost never buy dresses online because of fit. The size guide here is the best I've seen — measured my chest, hips, and length, took the L, perfect.
"Stunning — but size up if between."
Print and fabric are gorgeous. Bodice runs slightly snug — I'm usually between an XS and S, took the XS, the shoulder ties helped but I'd recommend the S if you're between sizes.
